Building

Have you ever looked at Spooner and thought, "wow its complicated." And even if ya do know it, the motivation to build and create can be fleeting, but never fear! If its a builder ya need, I'm ya guy. I love spooner, and I love creating with it. Its a blast to do /s and load it up every now and then to create something that didn't exist before. I may not be the best on the block but I enjoy what I can create and if you need something made, be it a ped costume or something to be ymapped, I can do it!

For regular builds (custom arenas, ped costumers, silly creations, etc), my pricing is $30 (ingame) an object. So for example, 100 objects in a build is $3,000 dollars. If you would like me to build you a YMAP (patreon custom property or for an official event). I'm happy to do so! YMAP building is $35 (ingame) an object. So 100 items would cost $3,500 for example.PATREON TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You need to be approved for a 100x100 first before I will begin building anywhere. Once you are confirmed for a lot, shoot me a message with the code and any idea's you have in mind, or just to give me the 100x100 code and tell me to go wild.
- At this time, I do not do custom houses and will use one of the houses in spooner if you ask me to build your property.^^'
- Also keep in mind you will be paying me and the real estate fee which averages about 25-30k.

Past Projects

Grazing Steed Ranch

I built my own ranch! Still really proud of it. Its located across from Thieves Landing on the tip of the penisula.I have included a location picture, you are welcome to show up and check out the ranch ingame! However, please be respectful of the fact I enjoy lounging at my property ingame, and so it is not available for roleplay or for you to use it as your own house.I did not decorate my ranch. All stable decor is by Tessa, and all house decor was by Anonymous.

Bee Cave Corral Ranch

This was the first custom house I was commissioned to create for Kalha out in New Austin, north of Armadillo. One of my favorite builds to date! This build was retouched and redone to replace the pastures and barn using new spooner items that fit the area better then the original items used. House and custom back porch are still the same.

Secluded Coast Player Home

I'm so proud of this house and stable. This is a cozy lil property on a bank across the water south of Blackwater. Its very simple yet cozy house, and I got just a tinyyyy bit carried away with the stable.Last I checked, this house as sadly taken up and is no longer ymap'd due to taxes not being paid and the person it belonged too no longer being able to log in. Still proud of it none the less even if its no longer around.

Oakfair Acres

I'll be honest, one of my most proud of builds as I adore the arena and stable. This build is also one I had a lil to much fun with as I was given creative freedom, allowing me to go ham and have fun making everything match really well.

Secluded Desert Player Home

This home was built slightly off-map to the north of Gaptooth Ridge, and included two stables. Each stable included a tack are and two stalls. From there, there are three pastures, two medium and one larger surrounding the property. The house also features a custom back patio for viewing the sunset in the desert.

Hanging Dog Auction Podium

This is a auction podium based on the irl Keeneland Auction House, in Kentucky, USA. This was created for the Grazing Steed May Auction, and was used again in the S.R.E Sport Import Auction. This code is not for public use, and belongs to Martin.

Indoor Arena

This arena was a practice test to see how well I could build a proper looking indoor arena. I'm extremely proud of how it came out, and this code is available for public use in Martin's Spooner Schenanigans over on the Rift RedM Discord. It is available only for use on the Rift RedM Server.

Korley Birthday Party

This is a decoration code at the Guarma Castle, this was for an official event in September of 2024 in celebration of Korley's birthday. The code is 600+ items, and features a birthday throne for the birthday girl, as well as one for Ginger who hosted the party, and one for Hobo who was the special guest. The venue party also features a DJ booth (heavily inspired by Bri's DJ booth), a dance floor, and a area upstairs for dining and chatting next to the 'thrones'.

More builds to come!

Retirement

Welcome to the Retirement page!
We all have horses we are attached to, but sometimes that love for them fades and we don't have the heart to sell them, or we just don't ride them as much and feel guilty for it. Grazing Steed will take in you're old mares and stallions and let them enjoy retirement in our wide pastures and excellent care for the rest of their lives
There is no fee for listing a horse as a GS retiree, and at any time you can come back and take em home! If interested, shoot me a DM or a message in my discord post with their backstory and a time to meet up to collect them.

Mimi

Missouri Fox Trotter
Black Tovero
15 years
15.2 Hands
1095 lbs
Owned by Ranch

The ranch's pride and joy, Mimi takes great pleasure of tramping around the property keeping all the newer mares in check. She was once the owners primary steed, and while her time as a mother has come and went, her snippy attitude never left. As her years get to her, she is ridden less and less, but is still Martin's favorite mare on the property. Now she majorly spends her days relaxing in the pastures and drinking from the lake surrounding what she calls home.

Horse With No Name

Mustang
Black Overo
18 years
14 Hands
950 lbs
Owned by Ranch

A tragic story old as time. Horse With No Name was found abandoned on a routine supply trip early into the ranch's existence. Her mother was likely killed or taken, and she was left to die, malnourished and slightly injured. She was taken in to heal, and thankfully after some time nursing with another mare, she was able to make a full recovery. She spent much of her time attached to the owner who saved her, and a name never really stuck to her. She was called Lil' Filly, Mustang, Sweetpea, every nickname under the sun, but as she grew, a name still hadnt been decided and so was just given a “proper name,” even if everyone sticks more to her various nicknames then what's on her halter.

Sarah

Shire
Raven Black
14 years
18.5 Hands
2200 lbs
Owned by Ranch (?)

Sarah is often described as the horse from hell. Destruction seems to follow wherever she goes, and some say she caused the fire at the Tall Trees house that just will not stop burning. She spends a lot of time at Grazing Steed, and we don't know why she seems to favor the area. She just showed up one day, with no real reason as to where she came from. But often, she disappears, coming and going as she pleases. We don't question where she goes, what she does, or how she does it. Nor do we claim responsibility for what she does when she isn't on the property.

2023 October Drill Klads

Kladruber
Black
7-13 years old
15 hands (avg,)
1150 lbs (avg.)
Owned by Ranch

A group of Kladrubers apart of a drill team that put on a show in October of 2023. Many members of the team were kept at the ranches that sponsored them or sold, but those tracked down ended up at Grazing Steed to get the retirement and care they deserve from their intense show days.

Shown left to right; Rhiow, Wild Raven, King's Warrior, Snoop Dog, & Mercedes

Rhiow

Rhiow was one of the first drill horses Grazing Steed acquired for its retirement program. She was quite the handful in and out the arena, enjoying to graze and munch away rather then partake in the actual drill practices. The easiest way to get her to listen and actually do her routines was slipping her a cookie or two. And if you didn't give her a snack during practice, she got quite the attitude. She has been reported attempting to throw her rider for forgetting her bag of goodies at home that day.
This mare now spends her days making her caretakers lives a story for the dinner table. She once reportedly snuck a whole bucket of carrots into her stall to snack on when a stable hand wasn't looking. How she managed to sneak said bucket, we still do not know.

Sold to Grazing Steed by Price Point Cannabis Company

Snoop Dog's bio was written by Lolcat, his rider. Sold to Grazing Steed by Massive Progress Riding School

Snoop Dog

Snoop Dogg is a 13 year old Kladruber stallion! Used in the 2023 October Rift Drill Team, this stallion was very relaxed most days, 'He rolls the best weed cause' he got it goin on'! He was placed in front of another stud during drill, and when asked why he kept tripping said stud, he said "I'm a gangster, but y'all knew that. Da Big Boss Dogg, yeah, I had to do that."
While he didn't like studs he fo shizzle had the rizzle! He was a ladys man and would behave very calmly around them! Even retired, he still attempts to make the ladies in the other pastures swoon and sigh over him.

Mercedes

Definetely one of the more unexpected members of the team, Mercedes never cared for teamwork. She was a one horse show pony and enjoyed killing it at dressage tournaments day in and day out. She entered and was chosen for the drill team with her riders interest in mind, but she hated every second of not being a lead. She constantly pushed her way around and tried to show up other horses. Thankfully her rider got her under control for the show, even if she tried her best to pull more of her shenanigans.
During her retirement, she is often caught prancing around the paddock and showing off, especially if anyone happens to pay any of the other retired team even a little attention.

Sold to Grazing Steed by Angelita, her rider

King

King's Warrior, nicknamed King, was born to be a show horse. From his youth, he always had his head held high and took graceful steps everywhere he went. He is highly disciplined and once he enters the arena, he was one of the best horses on any drill team, following each command to a tea. During the October drill, his rival, Snoop Dog, was placed in front of him in line, and often would slow down and attempt to trip or mess up King's rhythm. Thankfully, Snoop didn't do so during the show, but every step back between performances, the horses starred and angrily nickered at each other.Even if the two stallions sometime nip one another, they do enjoy their retirement. They are caught sometimes attempting to show one another up to prove who was the better lead.

Wild Raven

Wild Raven, nicknamed Wild, is a remarkable horse with excellent breeding. Before his time as a drill horse, he had shown great protentional as a police steed and rarely ever snipped at folk if they weren't his rider. He had an intimidating attitude, but great form and listened to commands well. This allowed him to be chosen for the team.
Sadly, Wild Raven's talent was never truly seen, as his rider never showed and he became a backup for the team. Despite never getting a moment in the spotlight, he gets to retire with his old buddies here. He still tries to show off every now and then to prove he deserved to make the team.

Duke of Hastings

Missouri Fox Trotter
(Baylock) Black Bald Face
15 hands
1050 lbs

Retired stud from Book of Suess stable.
Purchased and donated by MRPS to be cared for by Grazing Steed.

- Placed 1st at the SE Western Tryouts, Pole Bending hosted by Robin & Fenris, with a time of 22.37 seconds.
- Placed 2nd in the Lickity Split Western Agility Show with a time of 51.58 seconds.
- Placed 1st in The Mono Plain's Junior Roping with a time of 7.81 seconds out of 6 total contestants.
- Placed 2nd is Pole Bending at Rodeo Night hosted by Nightmokri.
- Placed 3rd in Working Cow Horse Lesson and Comp.

Duke's biography was written by Anisa Majors, who donated him to Grazing Steed to retire."I received Duke through a gracious person who didn't have enough time for him as he was very high energy. Come to find out.. this horse would be my best friend."

"Duke, aka 'Duke of Hastings', is a very speedy and high energy stallion. He loves anything running but also knows some dressage moves. He is mainly used for western style competition events and has had very good placings, if not winnings. He won the audition for the Sleepy Europeans Competition Team. He loves getting carrots at all times of the day and will honestly work himself to exhaustion for you. He takes a very confident, sturdy handed and balanced rider to get him to excel at this top best performance. When you compete with him.. all you have to do is give him a look at objective and he kicks into mode. Do not get me wrong though.. he loves being lazy when giving the chance and will gladly graze and/or sleep his heart away."

Tielo

Dutch Warmblood
(Buell Warvets) Gold Cremello
14 years
15.2 hands
1250 lbs

Tielo was purchased from The Peaceful Kelpie, where he served as both a stud and showjumping horse, winning the ranch many medals in his hay-day. Around the age of 6, he suffered an accident on the last jump during a trail run for a competition. He was taken home to TPK's veterinary clinic, where it was discovered Tielo badly injured his leg. He thankfully made a full recovery, but was advised to never jump in competitions again. It was here that Grazing Steed offered to take him into their care in exchange for a broodmare, and so Tielo arrived and began his years at stud. He quickly became a favorite by Lauren Smith, the head of the stud farm, with his gorgeous coat and gentle personality.

Around his 12th birthday, we came in contact with Patch of Heaven, another breeding facility that offered Grazing Steed a young stallion Dutch Warmblood of similar coat and color. It was with this arrival that it was decided to retire Tielo, and let him enjoy his years with the rest of the retirees without needing to work and stay cooped up in a stall most days. This of course doesn't mean he is going away. As now he will be in a pasture at the front of the farm, showing off to clients new and old one of the greatest stud's to ever reside at Grazing Steed.

"When Tielo arrived here, he reminded me a lot of my late husband. A gentle giant who aimed for greatness, and showed the world what he was truly made of. I will miss the little nickers he would made as I approached his stall with his favorite treat. He truly is one of a kind."- Lauren Smith, his caretaker

2024 Emo Drill MFT's

Missouri Fox Trotters
Owned by Ranch

This pair of Missouri Fox Trotter's came to Grazing Steed after they served in the Emo Drill back in April of 2024. This duo is definitely one of a kind, with both their personalities clashing in a way that we cannot imagine them being apart. They served their riders well, and now enjoy their retirement on our facility.

Shown left to right; Paimon & Cash

Paimon

Paimon was a back lead during his time in the Emo Drill, where he stayed calm and collected during his performance. He loved keeping everyone in line and obeyed every command given to him during practice. After the performance, he spent a few days back home before Lauren Smith, Grazing Steeds retirement organizer, came to take him to the facility. He was the first to arrive of the duo, and Paimon now spends his days at Grazing Steed with Cash, and the other drill horses from shows before and after his time. Of the Emo Duo, he is the more calm pair, and he is often found grazing in the back of the pasture unless called up to the fence, or if he has to run to escape Cash's more energetic personality.

Donated to Grazing Steed by Angelita, his rider

Cash

Cash is quite possibly the craziest horse ever to come retire at Grazing Steed, being the talk of the pasture and always causing trouble. Be it nipping ears, throwing hay on the ground, knocking over troughs, he lives for chaos. During his time on the team, he struggled to pay much attention and listen to commands. It was a miracle he managed to stay on the team and stay stable enough to stay around on drill day.
However, attempts have been made to rehouse him, either to a different pasture or another farm. All attempts have failed as Paimon, his partner from the emo drill, stops any kind of action to take Cash away, or is so mentally upset we have to return him for the safety of both horses.

Catch-Riding

Welcome to the Catch-Riding page!
Grazing Steed does not employ riders to specifically ride and compete with the intent to represent the ranch. Being completely honest, we find it more fun to supply the horses rather then actually compete ourselves. Therefore, we have decided to open a new service for the ranch, and that is paying others to use our horses. This is purely to get some of our horses out there in hopes it helps get not only our brand, but their faces out there to increase their chances as broodmares/studs.
You can pick up the horse up to 1 week before the listed event. You just need to dm Martin Everett-Reznov or shoot a message in the Discord Rift Marketplace for Grazing Steed saying who you wish to ride and for what upcoming event. If you wish to take the horse to use for up to 2 weeks with the intent of using it at various events/hangouts, please make it known also. Each horse is listed with their specialty, and any previous placing. However, the horse can be used for anything you choose, it does not have to be just their speciality. If you are interested in riding one of our horses, the payment is 1k just for riding per competition event/hangout attended with said horse, but pay can increase based on placement. If the horses tack must be changed to match the theme of the event, go ahead and change the horses tack so it qualifies to compete. Please do not sell previous tack as they are tacked up in the stable for a specific reason, and leave it so it can be changed back afterwards. You can return the horse without returning it to previous tack, we will change it back ourselves upon return.

Madam Silver Spoon

Tagged and registered to Grazing Steed

Madam Silver Spoon (nickname Little Spoons) is a Dapple Grey, Lusitano Mare. She is 3 years of age, measuring at 15.2 hands and weighing on average 1,050 lbs.She was trained in dressage and its disciplines by Crypt Keeper, of From The Crypt stables.

Madam Silver Spoon is a gentle mare with an endearing personality. She is extremely friendly to new folk, and loves attention. Gently petting her dappled fur is a quick way to get on this mares good side, especially if you scratch behind her ear, that's her absolute favorite. Her lineage consists of purebred Lusitano's. Her sire, Little Ladle, is a champion of the dressage circuit, winning his ranch countless ribbons before his stud retirement. Her dam, Madam Marble, also saw her fair share of the ring, but was quickly sold off to broodmare after an incident with the dressage ring border, and her rider being injured from the fall. Spoons was born and bred to tiptoe in the ring. And she shows much potential to take herself and her ranch far.
